Okay, so I know I’m about two weeks late!!!!
I have seen posts like this on a couple of the blogs that I really enjoy reading and decided to give it a go.
I could have started doing this type of post last year but errrr uhmmmmb…. I shied away from it for fear that each month I’d have to type that I didn’t complete any goals! Which would have been #embarrassing.
I have since pushed that fear aside (the new year does that to a lady) and decided that writing them out would help me to become accountable to myself for the goals that I set. Here are the ones that I’d like to share.
1. Complete five posts this month for the blog.
I’d like to do this in an effort to be more consistent with publishing content.
2. Complete 80% of the tasks I write down in my planner each day…(excluding weekends).
Now I love my Erin Condren planner! I actually did a post on it which you can view by clicking here. The problem is that I write down my tasks, make it all pretty, and then accomplish nothing. Well that just has to stop!
3. Complete homework assignments ahead of time.
It just makes sense to be prepared for class and avoid “Murphy’s Law”. lol
4. Finish one book for leisure.
Never hurts to read a good piece of literature! It’s good for the brain!
Whelp that’s it for this month. Of course I have plenty of other goals in my head but it seems like the theme of this month is to work on completion. I’m always excited to start a new project but never quite make it to the finish line. Today is a great day to begin the change towards a better me!
